Address : La Grange, 12 rue du Général Leclerc, 51420 Cernay-Lès-Reims, France

Director&Curator : Ludovic Dervillez

La Grange is Ludovic Dervillez’s studio but also an exclusive space for hosting painting exhibitions, and designed to present on site the work of painters at national and international levels, that is otherwise visible on social networks. The proposed line is to present exclusively contemporary abstract and figurative painting. An international painting exhibition entitled "Way Out" has been launched in September 2020, hosting 80 paintings from artists from 14 different countries, which was very successful and advertised in the local media.  The objective is to contribute to the promotion of these artists from a growing international community and to allow their work to be publically seen. This modern space is located in the barn of an old farmhouse in a village that is accessible in less than one hour from Paris. It offers a bright space in a warm, welcoming atmosphere with a direct access to a garden. It is a friendly place designed for artists particularly demanding on the choice of the program, but also a place that favors exchanges between artists as well as interactions with the visitors.

This second exhibition of La Grange Gallery will take place from June 04 to 26, 2022. It brings together international abstract and figurative artists. The theme is centered on the notions of opposition, the changes of direction, the subtle variations that enrich the composition of a painting. A way of evoking the dialectic between the past and the present, the unexpected and the risk-taking in the creative process.
